Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are happy to be able to celebrate Grandparents' Day once again in our school on Friday January 27th from 10 - 12 midday.
There won't be a mass in the church this year. But we will be here in our classrooms from 10 - 12 midday to welcome any grandparents who wish to pop into their grandchild's class on the day! Usually, the pupils love to hear stories from the grandparents about their days in school so be warned - have some stories ready!
Grandparents can pop into the GP room afterwards for a cup of tea and a bun!
We often say that grandparents are the scaffolding for society and it is important that we celebrate this day! Of course, if grandparents aren't available any significant adult in your child's life can be a part of this day!
The theme for Catholic Schools Week this year is Walking Together in Faith and Love. We celebrate and give thanks to our grandparents for walking with us on our journeys in school!
Please share this invite with all our school community grandparents and other important adults in your child's life!
To help out on the day, we would ask that the Parents and Friends Group could organise some teas/coffees and a bun in the GP room!
