Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope everyone is ready for Back to School! We are busy preparing up here and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning.
The school gate will be open at 9.10am to welcome you all back.
For our new Junior Infants and any new pupils to the school you are very welcome to walk your children up the path. Ms. Rachel Butler will be there to bring them into their new classroom. For the first 3 days this week Weds - Friday school will finish at 12.30pm. Ms. Butler will walk them down the path at 12.30pm. From next Monday Sept. 5th they will finish at 2pm. Ms. Butler will walk down the path each afternoon with the pupils. We wish the Junior Infants all the very best in their 8 years in Ballymitty NS.
All the teachers will be waiting on the yard for the different classes in the morning.
Some half zips haven't come into Wallaces yet - any pupils without half zips can wear their old jumpers/PE jumpers from last year, a plain navy tracksuit top/hoodie or even the Cúl Camps top from this year.
Book payments to be made online. We must remind parents that we cannot give out any workbooks to the pupils unless the books have been paid for. Some parents may need to purchase workbooks themselves in Wexford town.
The Ballymitty Infant Club for pupils in Junior and Senior Infants starts next Tues. Sept 6th from 2 - 3pm. Please let Lizie Goucher know if you intend joining this club.
All teachers will have email addresses for any communication that is necessary. These will be put up online on their welcome message soon.
There will be no written homework for the month of Sept as per our Homework Policy.
Swimming lessons have been booked for February/March for 3rd and 4th classes. More details will follow after Christmas.
We celebrate being back together with Friendship Week the week of Sept. 19th - 23rd. There will be an Opening Year Mass that Friday Sept. 23rd.
