Dear Parents/Guardians,
6th Class will travel to Dunmore Adventure Centre in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford on their school tour. We will complete a range of activities on the day, including the ‘Wibit Wipeout Aquapark’, Ireland’s biggest inflatable waterpark! After our activities in Dunmore Adventure Centre, we will travel into Waterford City Centre to spend some time shopping and to grab a bite to eat in McDonalds.
The tour will take place on Monday June 23rd.
The bus will leave school at 8.30 a.m. sharp. We ask that children please be at school no later than 8.20 a.m.
We will begin our activities in Dunmore Adventure Centre at 9.30 a.m. and we will depart Dunmore East for Waterford city at 3.15 p.m.
We will leave Waterford city at 6.00 p.m. and we aim to be back at school at 7.00 p.m.
On the day, children will need to bring the following:
- Suncream
- Swimwear, towel and old runners/water shoes to wear in the water. If you have your own wetsuit you are permitted to bring it, however wetsuits will be provided on the day.
- Children are permitted to wear their own clothes on the tour. This must comprise of a tracksuit/shorts and runners due to the active nature of the tour. A second set of clothes is not needed. We ask that children wear appropriate clothing.
- 2 bottles of water/cordial. No fizzy drinks please.
- Fresh Today will provide cold lunches for the children so there is no need to bring a packed lunch.
