Books
In 2024, the Dept. of Education gave a grant of €80 per pupil to each school for the first time. This money is used to purchase textbooks, workbooks, stationery, art supplies and subscriptions for our pupils. Parents reimburse in September of each year. Textbooks are selected collaboratively by staff. Inclusivity and gender equality are taken into account when selecting books.
Some copies and stationery are purchased by parents as well as Irish/English dictionaries, Thesaurus, Maths Sets, Calculators etc. Pupils purchase their own pens, pencils, rubbers, rulers etc.
