Book List and Stationery Information 2025/2026

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This year the Dept. of Education has contributed €80 towards the cost of books for each pupil. There are items that will not be covered by this so this year we are asking parents to pay €30 per pupil. This helps to cover costs of workbooks, subscriptions to various online resources, stationery, art equipment etc.

An Aladdin link has been/will be sent for you to pay this. Remember - you don't need to download the Aladdin app - you just click on the link we sent by email.

Information for Junior and Senior Infant Parents:

Please note that ALL stationery for Junior & Senior Infants is supplied by school.

The Junior Infant pupils do not need to buy a school bag as there is no need for it and there is very little room in the class for extra bags.

All they need is a lunch bag - one that holds their drink bottles.

Information for 1st – 6th class Parents:

Over the past year, we have noticed that children are bringing in more & more fancy stationery & numerous pencil cases. These cause distraction & take up a lot of room on an already crowded desk. They are also expensive to buy.

With this in mind, we ask you to downsize your stationery items for Sept. The following is a list of what is needed.

Each child needs ONE large pencil case to hold everything on the list.

How to keep costs down

We encourage all children to re-use their current pencil cases/ stationery items/ school bags for new school year. If your child is participating in the GAA Cúl Camps, they will get a gear bag. This is ideal for a school bag.

A few things to remember

Keyrings/gadgets on school bags not allowed.

If your child needs a fidget toys, we require an email to the Principal to explain the reason for the fidget toy.

We also encourage parents to support & shop local in Wellington Bridge/Wexford as much as possible. Stationery items are expensive. We are mindful of keeping costs to a minimum.

Many thanks,

Audrey
