Rackard League and other information for 4th - 6th classes

Rackard League and other information for 4th - 6th classes

Dear Parents,

Some Rackard League and Mini 7s information:

Mini 7s Competition for the Boys

Each year our school plays in a Mini 7s competition. As per my message on the app last week to the boys' parents, this competition is tomorrow Weds. Feb. 28th. As it is during school time, we have arranged a bus to bring the boys to Clongeen. They will leave at 12 midday, play two mini 7s games and be back for 3pm. We are asking for €5 from each pupil as bus costs at the moment are huge. This is a once off competition and we wish our boys all the best.

Please note: As the boys are partaking in this competition while also having 8.30am morning hurling, there is no need for them to go to Grantstown tomorrow evening at 3pm for training.

Rackard League Camogie and Hurling Inter-school Competition

This competition where we come together with Danescastle begins next week. We are sending out a letter today with the fixtures and with permission slips. We also have a new Rackard League policy which we would like all parents and pupils to sign up to. This will be sent out before the first games.

Fixtures for the Boys' Hurling Team which are subject to change:

Weds. March 6th v Clongeen at 3.30pm in Grantstown

Tues. March 12th v Fethard at 3.45pm away

Weds. March 20th v Adamstown at 1.45pm (time not definite yet) away

Fixtures for the Girls' Camogie Team which are subject to change:

Weds. March 13th v Rathangan at 2pm in Rathangan

We ask parents to please check iClasscms App for all updates on matches - maybe put this app on your first screen of your phone!

Thanks everyone,

Audrey
