Dear Parents,
We finally have news! Fr. Martin has written a letter to the parents of First Holy Communion and Confirmation pupils. All pupils received these letters going home today. The dates have been organised and we hope and pray that the easing of restrictions will allow them to go ahead. You can see the letter here from Fr. Martin.
Dates:
Holy Communion
First Confession - school based (outdoors), Weds. 12th May at 2.15pm - one parent only.
First Holy Communion - Ballymitty Church, Sat. 12th June at 11am - 2 adults only with each child.
Confirmation
Service of Light - school based (outdoors), Weds. 9th June at 2.15pm - one parent only.
Confirmation - Carrig Church, Friday 18th at 11am for 5th class, 1pm for 6th class - 2 adults only with each child.
We are delighted that dates have been set and I am sure you will be happy to start making plans for these special occasions.
We wish the pupils well on their journeys of faith and we look forward to supporting their preparation. They will have prayers, responses, songs and music to learn over the coming weeks. As there are no choirs permitted the staff who play music will provide the music for these occasions.
