Dear Parents/Guardians,
A few brief reminders:
GAA - Hurling tomorrow morning as usual for 2nd - 6th classes. Also, GAA with Adam all day in school for all classes. A reminder to all pupils to bring hurls and helmets from home please. There are some hurls and helmets in school so in future pupils who forget hurls or who don't have them can borrow from the school, not from each other. This prevents hurls getting broken and we know how expensive they are.
School closure - This Friday June 2nd school will close at 12 midday to facilitate staff professional development around the new Primary Curriculum. School also will close all of next week, as per school calendar.
Parents and Friends Group - Meeting will be held this evening at 8pm in school. The main focus of this meeting is to get support for our Official Opening of An Choill on Weds. June 21st at 12.45pm.
Marquees or Canopies - We are calling out for a loan of any small marquees or pop up canopies that we can use for our official opening - weather depending! Please let Mary know in the school office if you have one to loan for a few days! They can be dropped up from Monday 19th June onwards.
Finally, as tomorrow is the 1st of June - all the pupils are free to wear their summer clothes if they wish! Please remember the sunscreen and sun hats too!
