Send out the message that Ballymitty NS is open to all past and present pupils, staff and community members on Saturday May 24th from 3 - 7pm.
That evening we will have a special mass in Ballymitty Church to mark this special occasion at 7.15pm
Finally, everyone is invited back to Tullycanna Pub for a Grand School Reunion! We will have some music on the night as well as some nibbles! Why not come along and meet up with old school friends! We will also have a Raffle that evening so bring some spare change along!
To ensure our present cohort of pupils are involved in the celebrations, we will have a Fun Day in school on Fri. May 23rd with a host of activities for the children.
We are hoping to get parents involved in helping out for the 75th Celebrations. This is how you can help out:
- Donate some buns/cakes for the teas/coffees/refreshments in the school on Sat. May 24th
- Help the Parents and Friends' Group prepare the GP room and outdoor area (weather permitting!) for teas/coffees and on the day
- Help the Parents and Friends' Group hang photos around the school the week before the celebrations
- We are looking for some Face Painters for the Friday Fun Day
Finally, we will be sending home a sheet for any parents/grandparents who went to Ballymitty NS to write up a few of their memories of their time in Ballymitty NS. We will create a Memory Wall with all of these.
