We welcomed back two past pupils today who came in to our last hurling session with the junior end.
Paddy Quigley and Bobby Murphy have been on the Minor Wexford Hurling team this year and did us proud!
They did a hurling session with David Ryan and the kids and they spoke them to briefly afterwards. They talked about how important it is to do the training but also to put in the hard practice at home. They said to drop the bag and go and hit the ball against the wall after school! Darragh Stafford made a speech and thanked David for all the training sessions over the past year and all the Mams who helped out. He also told Bobby and Paddy that they are his inspiration.
Well done to all the kids who have taken part in morning hurling every Tuesday! Keep it up over the summer kids and we will be back next year with more morning skills!
