Hi everyone,
HAPPY FRIDAY! Hope you are all enjoying your Mid Term Break😁
I am really looking forward to our next (maybe our last for awhile) Infant class ZOOM on this Mon Feb 22nd at 11am. I hope as many of you as possible can join in. I love to see you all & to hear your news!!!
Ms. McCarthy, Ms. Bohanna & Geraldine will be joining me this week also. We are hoping our friends in An Choill Bheag will also pop on to say hello with Ms Casey & Edyta.
I really loved doing the quick scavenger hunt around our houses last week. So this week I will pick another 5/6 items for everyone to find in their immediate environment. Remember just to run, grab & dash back!
After having a break from home-school learning & screentime, I look forward to hearing all the News of what ye all got up to on your Mid Term Break, inside or outside of your house. The weather is not really pleasant at the moment!!
This week our new Aistear theme is The Puppet Show. We will be looking at some traditional fairy tale stories & listening to some similar stories with different endings.
This week I will read a story called Little Red & The Very Hungry Lion!!! I did put this story up on your choiceboard to listen to when we were learning about Ella's trip to Africa but you may not have had a chance to listen to it. The pictures will be shared onscreen by Ms. Bohanna, my technical whizz!!
We are going to do a new Action song from the Learning Station called Shake your Sillies Out! If you would like to take a sneak peep and listen to it, click here
I have a really funny school joke to tell you all so if you have any school related jokes to tell us, gather them up & I will ask you to give us all a laugh too!!
Finally we will say & wave goodbye to each other until the following Monday March 1st when hopefully WE WILL BE ZOOMING BACK UP THE PATH TO OUR FANTASTIC FRIENDS & CLASSROOM.
Here are our Zoom Computer Classroom Rules to look through with your child before Monday. Thank you!
See you all on Monday!
Deirdre
I will send the meeting details to everyone via a message on the app & will also put it up on Seesaw for Monday morning.
