Dear Parents/Guardians,
Parents and Friends' Group Calendars
Thanks to all who have advertised their businesses. We appreciate your support. We have sent out an Aladdin link for you to pay for the ads which are €50 each. If anyone still wants to advertise their business before next week, click here: http://ballymittyns.ie/Forms/Advertising-for-the-Christmas-School-Calendar/378987/Index.html
To purchase the calendars - next Friday we will send out an Aladdin link which will allow parents to purchase calendars, costing €10 each. If there are any family members, child minders, grandparents etc. who would like to order calendars they can contact the school directly and we can take cash payment for those.
School Lotto
The school lotto is going very well and we thank everyone for their support with this. As a staff, we have decided to spend some of the monies raised thus far on the following:
€1000 is going towards the purchase of equipment and resources for PE and SPHE which both come in under a new subject in the new curriculum called Wellbeing.
€1000 going towards trips for pupils in An Choill.
€1000 going towards badly needed equipment for Science and Aistear which is the playful learning programme in the infant classes.
Without your support, we could not fund these activities. Thanks so much everyone!
For anyone who hasn't already joined you can find out all the information here: https://www.ourfundraiser.ie/org/ballymittyns/
