Dear Parents, Pupils and Staff,
I am sure you all heard the re-opening news last night. From the guidelines issued to schools last night, this is the plan for re-opening on Monday March 1st. Our school management team are meeting online today to discuss further details and we will get this to you later in the week.
On Monday March 1st:
All Junior and Senior Infant pupils will be back to Ms. Deirdre Franey.
All Senior Infant and 1st Class pupils will be back to Ms. Áine O'Brien.
All 2nd & 3rd Classes will be back to Ms. Áine Foley. (As Ms. Foley has a mixed class, the guidelines indicate that the 3rd class pupils must return too)
All pupils in An Choill Bheag and An Choill Mhór will be here for normal school hours.
All bus transport for pupils on big school bus and An Choill bus will start back.
All Special Education Teachers and Special Needs Assistants will start back.
4th - 6th class Teachers Ms. Shelly O'Grady and Ms. Trish Foley will plan an extra Zoom at the start of next week to ensure that these pupils are kept motivated as it will be hard for them (and their parents) to see other siblings/classes returning. The target date for these classes to return is Monday March 15th but this will be very much dependent on Public Health guidelines.
