Dear Parents/Guardians of 5th/6th class pupils,
We just wanted to let you know that our Spanish lessons finished in school last week with Montse. She was excellent at promoting the Spanish language and culture and it is great to know that some of these children have had three years of Spanish lessons. Say Yes to Languages in a Dept. funded programme and they do want more schools to participate so they limit the lessons now to 5th and 6th classes. The children participated so well in the lessons and some of our 6th class have chosen Spanish next year because of their introduction to it here.
We thank Montse and the teachers for helping to promote foreign languages into our school and we hope they will recommence next year.
