Bank Holiday weekend
Reminder that school closes on Monday May 6th and Tuesday May 7th for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Summer Programme
Each year we run two weeks of July Provision for our pupils in the ASD classes. We also run a Summer Programme for pupils who get extra supports during the year. We will get the lists together for this programme and go out to parents next week.
Match fixtures for the week ahead:
5th and 6th class Rounders Teams will play Glynn NS in Glynn/Barntown GAA pitch at 1pm on Monday April 29th. Pupils to be collected at 12.15pm.
Boys' Rackard League Hurling District Final is on Tuesday April 30th at 3.30pm in Ballycullane v Tintern. Boys to leave school at 2.45pm.
Girls' Rackard League Camogie Quarter Final v Clongeen is on Weds. May 1st at 1.30pm. Girls to leave school at 1pm.
5th and 6th class boys and girls will play Kennedy Park NS here at the school next Thursday from 12.30pm onwards.
For all the matches above, parents need to organise car lifts.
Freshtoday Hot Lunches
Some pupils are not eating any of the lunches so please contact Freshtoday to cancel orders if this is the case.
Grandparents' Day
This will be held next Friday May 3rd in the school. It will start at 11am where grandparents can come into the GP room, have a cuppa and they will meet all the classes and the staff in there. Then at 12.30pm - 1pm the grandparents can visit the classes. We ask that no child goes home early with their grandparents as this is a full day of school and we would prefer if all children remained in school.
Freshtoday have offered to send in 4 trays of sandwiches for our grandparents. We would love if we could have some of our Parents and Friends Group in to help with teas/coffees on the day. GP room will also have to be set up on the Thurs. afternoon between 2 and 3pm if anyone is around to help. Please share across the WhatsApp groups.
