Hi Everyone in 4th and 5th Class!
I hope you are all keeping well and that you had a lovely Summer. Can you believe it is back to school time already? I am sure you are all really excited to get back to school to see all of your friends again.
As you know there will be some changes in school this year. Please click here to watch my “Welcome Back” video which describes some of these changes.
Lining Up:
In the morning our class will follow the footsteps on the basketball court and line up by the pitch behind the yellow dot. I will collect our class at 9:20 am.
Sparkling Bubbles:
Each classroom is known as a bubble. We are the Sparkling Bubbles.
Classroom Pods:
In our classroom we will have six groups known as “Pods”. The Purple Pod, The Green Pod, The Orange Pod, The Yellow Pod, The Blue Pod and The Red Pod. Please click here to see which pod you are in.
In our pods everyone will have their own basket for stationary, dictionaries etc. and a folder to keep your books. Please remember that we will not be able to share our stationary with others this year. We will have a group 'caddy' for our labelled scissors, glue, dice, counters, art materials etc.
Hand Washing:
We will wash our hands when we enter the classroom in the morning, after little break and after big break. Please click here to watch this video about how to wash our hands correctly.
Hand Sanitising:
We have a new hand sanitising station in our classroom and we will sanitise our hands before eating at little break and big break and before going home.
Break time:
At break time we will have a specific area for our class to play. I will show you this on Thursday.
Virtual Tour of our School:
Please keep an eye on the school website/app for a virtual tour of the school from Ms. McCarthy.
Boys and Girls, I will go through everything with you on Thursday so please don’t worry about any of the changes. We are all here to help each other.
Ms. Rose and I are really excited to welcome you back to school this Thursday. We have lots of fun planned.
