Hello pupils and families of An Choill Mhór,
Happy Monday and welcome to our (hopefully) final week of online learning!!
This week is Active Schools Week in Ballymitty and you will find an Active Schools Week activity on Seesaw this week. There are plenty of active challenges on there to get the heart rate up and the blood pumping. Please send in any pictures or videos of you trying the challenges via Seesaw. I have also uploaded some Pancake Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and Lent resources on Seesaw as well as some familiar Literacy and Maths activities. This week is a short week for us due to Mid Term Break. I hope you all have a well deserved break on Thursday and Friday. You've earned it.
We will have our weekly An Choill Mhór zoom call this Tuesday at 11am. I have emailed you the details for this call. I'm looking forward to seeing all the boys and girls again this week.
As you all know we will be re-opening our school on Monday 22nd February. This means the pupils in our class and An Choill Bheag will be returning to school next week. This is fantastic news for all the families in An Choill and I know I speak for Mel and I when I say we can't wait to see you all. We are looking forward to working with you all in person again and trying to get back into the routine we all loved. We have a school reopening plan in place which will be made available online over the next few days. I will also be in touch later in the week to touch base with you all before school re-opening.
If you've any questions in the meantime or are having any issues with Seesaw please don't hesitate to contact me through Seesaw or at ballymittyrkenny@gmail.com.
Have a fantastic week,
Ms. Kenny
