Hi All!
As you all know, our First Confession for 2nd class will be taking place on the evening of Wednesday March 30th. This week and in the coming weeks, 2nd Class will be going to the church to prepare for the sacrament of Reconciliation. The children will be given some readings to say and some children may have parts of hymns to sing.
We have been working very hard to prepare these in class for the past number of weeks. It is also going to be very important that the children continue to prepare for their First Confession and their First Holy Communion at home. Due to Covid-19, the children did not have the opportunity to attend masses throughout the school year as they usually would in preparation for the First Holy Communion. I have attached a PDF below which contains the mass responses that the children should familiarise themselves with. This will also be given to the class as a hard copy. We have been working hard to learn these in school and it would be fantastic if they could be reinforced at home.
Thank you all for your continued support throughout this year. It is greatly appreciated. We are really looking forward to celebrating both the First Confession and the First Holy Communion in the coming weeks and months.
