Dear Parents, Staff, Board of Management and Pupils,
Today school officially closed at 12 midday. Compared to the usual emotions of sending all the 6th down the path and saying farewell to everyone else it was very quiet up here!
I want to thank all our parents and our Parents and Friends Group for all your support this year. We ask you to keep an eye on the App and website over the next few days and weeks regarding back to school dates, items, information etc.
I also want to thank the Board of Management,, who were newly appointed this year for all their support.
A huge thank you to all our teachers, our SNAs, to Helena our Secretary and Trish our School Cleaner, and Davy our TÚS worker - you are the scaffolding of this school. Well done on all your hard work.
Finally, to our pupils, you have had a strange year yet you have readjusted and learned new things and are hopefully coming out the other end of lockdown. I hope you get to enjoy meeting up with family and friends. Stay safe, please remember to keep washing hands and sanitising. Just follow all the guidelines.
Our 6th class group - last night it was fantastic to be able to say goodbye and clap you down the path. Enjoy the summer before your next chapter begins.
