Hello 3rd and 4th Class!

20th April 2020
19-April-20

Hello everybody in 3rd and 4th class!

I hope you are all keeping safe and well and that you enjoyed your Easter break. It was a very different Easter for all of us, definitely one we will not forget. We were really lucky to have some beautiful sunny days last week so I hope ye got outside to enjoy them.

I am leaving some suggested work for this week below. It is just like the work that you did the week before Easter and it follows the same idea. As I said in my video, do not worry about doing lots of work. Some people in our class will be able to do lots of work all on their own which is fantastic and other people will be able to do a little bit of work with help from a parent. I will be happy even if you just do one or two activities from each day so please don’t worry about doing it all. Just be the best that you can be.

Anybody who got to do some of the work I left before Easter, I can email you the answers to that work. Just email me on ballymittyteachers@gmail.com and ask for them. I will be sure to send you a PDF of the answers .

In my video, I speak about a new app we are using called Epic. I have given instructions on how to access Epic. If you don’t have a tablet and cannot download the app just follow this link and follow the same instructions from my video. https://www.getepic.com/sign-in/educator .

Below I have also included a Maths and Irish document to help with this weeks topics. Use them as you complete these subjects.

I hope you all have a lovely week, we are supposed to get more sunshine this week so make sure you get outside and get active. As I said last week, make sure you’re checking in with your friends in some way and asking them how they are; writing a letter or chatting on the phone are both nice ways to keep in touch. Also, don’t forget to keep reading! As well as using Epic, I found Matilda online also as I know a lot of you were really enjoying it so you can access that through the link below.

For now, enjoy your week. Thinking of you all each and every day.

Ms. Foley

P.S Ms Rose says hello to everybody - she is thinking of you and she hopes you are all doing really well!
