Hi Everybody,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend - lots of sunshine again and also a bit of rain to help the crops grow and to keep our country looking nice and green!

Most importantly, this week I have put together a Parents' Survey to ask parents’ opinions on the work we have given pupils to date and also what supports parents would like to see for the remaining few weeks in school. Please access survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JXXWDVZ
Also, I attach a document that came from the Department of Education called Continuity of Schooling which I encourage you all to take a look at. This outlines the many ways in which schools were able to keep in contact with pupils and families. As the Principal, I feel that we have communicated on many different levels with the pupils and parents and I am very thankful to the staff and parents for all their support and understanding at this time.
On Friday I will pop up our May Newsletter on the website under News > Newsletters.
As we veer towards the end of May we are looking ahead to a busy June - a different busy this year! It is probably the month that we love most as there are so many exciting things that happen in our school from academic, to social to cultural and it is when we celebrate the successes of our school and pupils. We aim to cover some of these activities this year, online, from a distance! So stay tuned over the coming weeks.
To find out about some upcoming Class Zoom Meetings check out the following News articles
Ms. Foley - 3rd and 4th
Ms. O'Grady - 4th and 5th
Ms. Curtis - An Choill Mhór Autism Class
Ms Hannigan - who will be organising one for 1st and 2nd classes next week!
In the meantime I hope you all have a good week! Try to do as much work as you can as it is important that you stay connected with school work.
Stay safe, please keep social distance and remember all the public health guidelines.
Míle buíochas,
Audrey
