Dear Parents,
Some important things to remember for the morning drop-off to school:
Gate will open at 9.10am usually by School Principal Audrey or our new TÚS worker Conor.
We ask people not to gather in groups at the school wall or in the car park as maintaining a socially safe distance is so important at this time.
We ask parents to please walk with your child to the gate particularly if your child is in the junior classes.
Pupils on bikes from now on must get off bike and walk around the path in the school car park to the gate. Yellow footprints will be drawn to indicate where cyclists must walk.
We ask parents to reverse into car spots and to not let pupils get out of car until you are parked.
Please also follow the one-way system.
If you need to stand at the wall when there are others around it would be preferable to wear a mask.
All parents are very welcome to park in the church car park also which might alleviate groups gathering at certain times.
We are all doing so well and we want to ensure our pupils' safety at all times. Keeping our school open is our priority and every little things helps. If we find that these safety measures aren't being followed we will have to have a staggered drop-off time in the morning. We will monitor the situation over the next two weeks.
