Dear Parents,
On Tuesday June 13th, the pupils of 3rd, 4th & 5th classes will travel to the IOAC in Tagoat, Wexford for our annual end of year school tour.
We will need to leave at 9am sharp & will return in time for 3pm finish.
The total cost of the tour, including the bus is €40 per child. Please note there is a reduction for 5th class children only. Their tour will cost €15, as there are some funds left over from Erasmus fundraising which will go towards the cost of 5th class tour.
The children will be divided into 2 groups. Each group will enjoy one hour of kayaking, one hour doing the Berserker Challenge course (which involves team building activities through communication & has 8 obstacles) & 30mins of archery. All equipment is provided on site.
Children will need to bring –
- A good sized, healthy packed lunch with some treats
- 2 bottles water/ cordial. No fizzy drinks please
- a swimming togs/trunks
- a towel
- a plastic bag for wet gear
- old pair of runners for inside the kayak.
- sunscreen/sunhat
All safety gear (wet suits, helmets & buoyance aids) will be provided.
Children will NOT need any spending money.
