Dear Parents / Guardians,
Just a little reminder that we are still working on the Stay Safe Programme.
Today, we did Topic 2, Lesson 1, which was based on Friendship.
We discussed the qualities that we look for in a friend and the reasons why we are good friends to others.
We also covered Topic 2, Lesson 2, which is based on 'Bullying'.
Bullying is defined as behaviour that is 'Repeated, Hurtful and Deliberate'.
It was also noted that 'Hurtful Behaviour' can be physical, verbal and emotional.
Excluding others is also considered 'Hurtful Behaviour'.
We would kindly ask that you continue these discussions with your child at home tonight and help them to complete Worksheet 4 and 5 based on these lessons. Please don't forget to sign the worksheets and send them back in with your child tomorrow.
