Please see information below regarding a wonderful reading adventure organised by Wexford Library. This was mentioned on a lot of our school reports and it is a wonderful programme:
The Summer Stars Reading Adventure 2021 has started!!!
This year, Summer Stars takes place both online and in Wexford Libraries. So we are inviting all the children of Wexford to join the adventure!
The adventure runs from 14th June - 31st August , so plenty of time to get all your reading in!
We are now open for registration and upon registering each child gets their reading logbook, where they can fill in their books and track their progress over the summer.
Summer Stars is a free national non-competitive reading programme and every child who reads even one book gets a certificate at the end of August, but we do have some lovely rewards for those who read two books are more.

Read 4 Books: Pencil
Read 6 Books: Summer Stars Diary
Please let your class know that we are open and that they can come in and sign up for Summer Stars from today.
We will also be running events and activities, so make sure to check in throughout the summer! The Summer Stars Reading Adventure and all the associated activities are free!
We have a large range of children's books both on the library shelves and online with BorrowBox. So do visit to stock up on your summer reads and register for Summer Stars!
