Hey everyone
Big Hi to Kate, Kayleigh, Leah, Maci, Carragh, Jade, Tatum, Sophie, Aoibheann, Leona, Darren, Harry, Adam, Ryan, Paudie, Conor, Tommy & Ben & Conn in ACB!!!
I really hope ye all enjoyed your virtual school tours & got a chance to check out some of the suggestions. Disneyland was such fun!! The night-time fireworks & Splash mountain were my favourite!!
Thank you to everyone who have sent in their school tour t-shirt designs - they are ALL fantastic. Check out our class blog to see all the new pics!
Congratulations to SOPHIE SINNOTT & CARRAGH WATERS for receiving an End of Year Attendance Award. Both these girls only missed 3 school days this school year!! Usually we go to school for 183 days but this year, unfortunately, our school year was cut short & we only were in school a total of 121 days.
Thank you to Mammies & Daddies for coming to our school on Friday last, June 12th to collect all the bits & bobs, your art folders & most importantly your school reports. I hope everyone is happy with their report! Congratulations & Well done on all your fantastic work this school year. You should be very proud of yourselves & please know how very proud I am of all of you.
I'm sure your parents are amazed at all the beautiful print work ye produced during your workshop with David Begley. I spoke with David this morning & he said to say hi & he often thinks of you all.
This week's choice board is full of lots of outdoor & active ideas for you to try out with your family. There are some sports day games which we would normally do in school on sports day but why not try them out at home & compete against each other!! Please make sure to take a look at PAWS - the Primary Aquatics Water Safety link. These lifesaving skills can be spoken about at home. Always be safe around water & know the dangers.
The next Stay Safe lesson is Topic 4 Secrets & Telling. The children learn about good & bad secrets, that they should never keep ‘bad’ secrets including secrets about touches & that sometimes it’s difficult to tell if there are bribes or threats involved. Check out teacher resource 16 for the 'what if ' scenarios which go with this lesson.
Finally remember that next Sunday June 21st is Father's Day!! There are some art & craft ideas on your choice board. You might find some nice idea's there! Have fun & remember to spoil DAD next Sunday.
Thank you to Tina Ralph for sending in her weekly yoga videos. New one will be up tomorrow.
Check out the new G.A.A challenges from Lloyd! Hurling & Camogie Challenge, Football challenge.
For now Super Senior Infants, I wish you all an active & fun-filled week. Keep smiling!!!!
Stay safe as always & remember your sunscreen!
